Sept 19 & 20Southeast Indiana One Stop Shop Hop Location: Lawrenceburg Event Center 50+ vendors from all over the country Special guest: Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company Facebook.com/Southeastindianashophop We are blessed:
Ohio has more quilt shows than almost any other state. (That is why NQA decided to finally have a permanent quilt show site rather than having the shows in a different state every year.)
It is the start of ‘quilt show season’ and we are luckily to have many fairly local shows to attend. (I’ve been to 2 shows and 1 Shop Hop in the last 10 days.) In addition, the quilt show owners go to the major shows and bring back lots of ideas, books, fabric and supplies.
Regina H is looking into getting a bus for us to the show in Lawrenceburg, IN. This is a great way to attend. Another way is for groups to car pool and/or car caravan to the shows.
Give yourself a challenge – at every show you attend be sure to find a new technique, gadget or hint to increase your quilting experie
